Cambridge GaN Devices (CGD) is a fabless semiconductor company that develops energy-efficient GaN-based power devices. We are seeking a Senior/Principal Power Device R&D Engineer to lead our development projects of the newest GaN power devices and ICs.

The role involves technical leadership of multidisciplinary projects, working with project managers, engineers, and designers to develop novel GaN power products. You will be responsible for developing and using your knowledge of various aspects of semiconductor device development at the forefront of GaN device R&D.

This position is based in Cambridge, UK, but some travel may be required. A Master's degree in a relevant engineering or science subject and solid experience in developing semiconductor devices are essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £90,000 - £110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including a share options scheme, pension scheme, and flexible working options.

**Job Requirements:**

  • Masters degree in a relevant engineering or science subject
  • Solid experience of developing semiconductor devices, preferably power devices
  • Semiconductor industry experience
  • Expertise in power device packaging, analog ICs, power semiconductors, GaN devices, or semiconductor testing and reliability
  • Project management experience
