About the Role

The Software Engineer II in Test will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through exploratory testing, automation design, and implementation. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product issues, develop automated tests, and ensure seamless integration with our CI/CD pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, execute, and create automated tests using Python, Java, or JavaScript
  • Design and implement automation frameworks for manual tests across various products
  • Conduct exploratory testing to identify product defects and suggest improvements
  • Analyze results and provide actionable recommendations to improve product quality
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of product issues
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in QA or similar roles
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks like Playwright, RobotFramework, Cucumber, NUnit, or Selenium
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and source control platforms like GitHub
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux/OSX and Windows command line tools
  • Strong understanding of JIRA or equivalent defect tracking tools
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, OpenStack, and VMware
  • Ability to self-direct, collaborate effectively, and demonstrate a high-energy work ethic
