Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Water Hygiene Specialist to join our team. As a Water Hygiene Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of water hygiene in customer sites. This includes Legionella temperature monitoring, water sampling, inspection of hot and cold tanks, cleaning and disinfection, TMV servicing, shower descaling, and completion of reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Legionella temperature monitoring and water sampling in customer sites
- Inspect hot and cold tanks to ensure compliance with ACoP L8 regulations
- Clean and disinfect water systems to prevent Legionella growth
- Servicing of Temperature and Pressure Valves (TMVs)
- Descaling of showers to prevent mineral buildup
- Completion of reports to document site visits and activities
Requirements:
- Similar experience in a Water Treatment or Hygiene Industry role
- Cooling tower experience is beneficial but not essential
- Good understanding of ACoP L8 Legionella compliance regulations
- Industry-recognized qualification in Water Hygiene or a related field
- Good computer skills and ability to use software for reporting and documentation
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication skills and ability to work with customers
- Full driving license and ability to travel to customer sites
- Currently living in the UK with full leave to remain
