Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse
Spire Nottingham Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join their Pre-Operative Assessment team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing patients pre-operatively, ensuring they are optimized for surgery, and providing exceptional care to patients visiting the hospital for surgery.
About the Role
- Assess pre-operative patients and ensure they are optimized for surgery
- Work in a fast-paced nurse-led pre-assessment service alongside lead anaesthetists
- Provide exemplary care to patients visiting the hospital for surgery
- Carry out electronic pre-operative assessments
- Work as part of a wider multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Qualified nurse with experience in pre-operative assessment clinics
- Valid NMC pin with no conditions or restrictions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop patient assessment, decision-making, and clinical skills
- Computer literate and confident in assessing patients over the phone
