Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Experienced Nurse Prescriber

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Experienced Nurse Prescriber to join our team at Stenhouse Medical Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working autonomously to diagnose and treat patients with undifferentiated medical and psychiatric conditions.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a recognized Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Experienced Nurse Prescriber qualification at Masters level. You will be confident in prescribing a range of medications and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Work autonomously to diagnose and treat patients with undifferentiated medical and psychiatric conditions
- Prescribe medications and arrange referrals for investigations as necessary
- Provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Participate in the education and training of junior staff and students
- Contribute to the development of the practice, including participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Registered Health Care Practitioner
- Recognized Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Experienced Nurse Prescriber at Masters level
- Independent Non Medical Prescriber
- Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
