About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Public Health Midwife to join our team at Everyone Health Ltd, where you will play a critical role in supporting the Stop Smoking in Pregnancy service across Staffordshire.
Main Responsibilities
As a Public Health Midwife, you will be responsible for:
Delivering face-to-face and virtual appointments for eligible individuals using behaviour change techniques to promote a healthy pregnancy and create a smoke-free household.
Working with Maternity Tobacco Dependency Advisors, Maternity units, Midwives, and other stakeholders to increase referrals and reduce health inequalities.
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a hospital and/or community midwifery setting.
A relevant degree/postgraduate degree in Nursing, or equivalent/Registered Midwife (NMC).
Awareness and understanding of Saving Babies Lives v3, Element 1 Reducing smoking in pregnancy.
- Liaise closely with Maternity Tobacco Dependency Advisors/Midwives to ensure a closed feedback loop.
