Job Summary

William James Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Solicitor to join our client's Professional Negligence Team. As a Senior Associate Solicitor, you will work on high-quality cases on behalf of insurers arising from professional indemnity claims.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced lawyers who are experts in their field. You will have exposure to a wide range of cases, including those involving solicitors, insurance brokers, and financial advisers. Your responsibilities will include advising on policy coverage, regulatory issues, and Ombudsmen complaints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling professional negligence claims on behalf of insurers
  • Working closely with partners on high-value claims
  • Managing a varied caseload and meeting deadlines
  • Providing expert advice on policy coverage and regulatory issues
  • Communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive with experience in professional negligence claims
  • Strong legal and leadership skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
