Manufacturing Engineer - Automation & Robotics

Orion Electrotech is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for automation and robotics to drive cutting-edge automation projects in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement innovative automation and robotic systems to streamline production processes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve quality, and increase efficiency in our manufacturing operations.
  • Troubleshoot automation systems and recommend solutions for repairs or upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure automation solutions meet both operational needs and industry regulations.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by optimizing designs for automation and developing inspection strategies using the latest vision and sensor technologies.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in Automation or Robotics.
  • Advanced skills in RAPID programming and C++.
  • Hands-on experience with robotic assembly line simulations and sensor vision systems (Cognex, Keyence).
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities.
Qualifications:
  • Degree educated in an Engineering discipline.
  • Expertise with RAPID, Solidworks, TIA Portal, and Robot Studio.
  • Certified in PLC programming and Six Sigma methodologies.
