Job Description

AWE Plc is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our Technology Development Group. This exciting opportunity will see you working on high-power laser systems, conducting laboratory experiments and assembling bespoke hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist engineers and scientists with conducting laboratory experiments
  • Assemble and test bespoke hardware
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment within the laboratory

Requirements:

  • Practical Electrical/Electronic qualification(s) and/or experience in maintaining, fault finding, repairing electrical systems down to modular level
  • Working in a laboratory/workshop environment
  • Use of testing and measuring equipment, such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes etc
