Senior Finance Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our client's team as an interim cover for a maternity leave contract. The role is a full-time opportunity, with hybrid working arrangements available, if required. The successful candidate will act as the finance lead for a busy production facility, working closely with department heads and managing a team of three transactional-focused colleagues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assuming operational finance lead, working closely with department heads
- Managing, mentoring, and developing a team of three colleagues
- Preparing and presenting detailed management accounts with commentary
- Producing monthly forecasting cycles, costs, and variances
- Preparing year-end statutory reports, adhering to reporting requirements
- Overseeing the site's aged debtor function
- Playing a lead role in annual audit processes
- Identifying and implementing system and process improvements
