About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our gastroenterology service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead liver outpatient clinics and endoscopy services
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Contribute to the development of our department's research strategy
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide teaching and training to junior medical staff

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • MRCP and Certification of Completion of Specialist Training
  • Accreditation in general internal medicine and gastroenterology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in managing acute gastroenterology and general level II hepatology
