Clinical Nurse Specialist

GLG Vets is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to take on a leadership role and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care, leading by example, and mentoring junior staff members.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the nursing team and ensure seamless delivery of patient care
- Develop and implement nursing protocols to improve patient outcomes
- Mentor and coach junior nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and initiatives to improve the practice
- Work closely with the veterinary surgeons to provide comprehensive patient care
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with RCVS
- Proven experience in a small animal practice
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, plus benefits including
- A generous CPD allowance
- Full RCVS fees paid
- Uniform provided
- Mileage reimbursement for out-of-hours work
The successful candidate will be required to work a standard full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including one in six Saturday mornings and regular out-of-hours shifts.
