Job Description:

GLG Vets is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to take on a leadership role and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care, leading by example, and mentoring junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the nursing team and ensure seamless delivery of patient care
  • Develop and implement nursing protocols to improve patient outcomes
  • Mentor and coach junior nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and initiatives to improve the practice
  • Work closely with the veterinary surgeons to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with RCVS
  • Proven experience in a small animal practice
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, plus benefits including

  • Mileage reimbursement for out-of-hours work
Working Hours:

The successful candidate will be required to work a standard full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including one in six Saturday mornings and regular out-of-hours shifts.
