Job Description

Hoare Lea is seeking an experienced HV Lead to join our team. As a key member of our electrical engineering department, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of HV engineers and overseeing the delivery of complex high-voltage infrastructure projects across the UK and Europe.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in designing and delivering HV infrastructure projects, with strong project leadership skills and experience working on power systems high voltage substation design, earthing arrangements, CT calculations, arc flash calculations, differential protection, and stability slopes. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work autonomously, leading small to medium-sized projects and taking briefs from project leads on larger projects.

We offer a competitive salary of £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including private medical scheme, life assurance, income protection, electric car salary sacrifice scheme, travel allowance, 25 days annual leave increasing to 30 with length of service, contributory pension scheme, employee assistance programme, enhanced paternity, maternity & shared parental leave, season ticket loans, professional membership subscription, and flexitime.
