Project Engineering Lead Opportunity at Leonardo

Leonardo is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Lead to join our Land Communications Integrated Project Team (IPT) within the Comms and Force Protection Business Area.

About the Role

As a Project Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for managing cross-disciplined engineering teams and ensuring that the engineering team delivers a solution that meets customer, contractual, and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage engineering teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Develop and maintain engineering plans, including resource allocation and risk management
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure effective project delivery
  • Contribute to the monthly engineering governance cycle through the preparation of engineering status reports
  • Build strong relationships with Engineering Functional Leads to ensure realistic resourcing plans and resolve any arising issues
Requirements
  • Educated to a degree level in an engineering-related subject
  • Previous experience of managing and/or leading multi-disciplined engineering teams
  • Strong understanding and proven track record of engineering lifecycles and processes
