About the Role
  • A progressive, oversubscribed Secondary School and Sixth Form is looking to recruit a successful Lead Practitioner for Science to join their high-achieving Science department.

The ideal candidate will have a QTS and be able to demonstrate outstanding teaching practice and excellent behaviour management.

This 'Good' school is committed to positively impacting the lives of children and young people in East London. They offer a collaborative Science department where you can work alongside the Faculty Lead to develop and implement high quality classroom practice and professional development.

As a Lead Practitioner for Science, you will lead by example, delivering outstanding teaching and learning within Science lessons and intervention sessions. You will also provide coaching and mentoring roles for staff and students in interview programmes within the Science department.

About the Benefits
  • An estimated salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
  • Permanent role starting in September 2024.
  • Lead Practitioner Scale 1-10 (Inner London).
