Industrial Disease Team Solicitor

Thompsons Solicitors Scotland is seeking a skilled and dedicated solicitor to join our Industrial Disease Team in Glasgow or Edinburgh. As a solicitor in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals suffering from industrial diseases such as vibration-related injuries, noise-induced hearing loss, skin disease, and lung disease.

You will be part of a supportive team and benefit from the mentorship of experienced professionals in this highly specialized field. Your responsibilities will include:

Caseload Management:
  • Working collaboratively with a team of like-minded professionals on a mix of pre-litigation and litigation cases.
  • Contribute to training and mentoring trainees.
  • Liaising with and instructing medical experts.
  • Drafting a range of legal documents, including writs.
