Dispute Resolution Lawyer Opportunity

Fantastic opportunity for a dispute resolution lawyer to join our progressive and modern legal practice. Our client is looking for an assistant solicitor to join their dispute resolution team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting for clients in the resolution of contentious issues, including conducting hearings in the Sheriff Courts and the Court of Session.
  • Providing advocacy in tribunals, arbitration, and mediation.
  • Taking statements, attending consultations, drafting pleadings, instructing expert witnesses, and preparing cases for proofs/debates.
  • Working closely with experts and ensuring counsel are instructed accordingly where required.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years post-qualified experience in dispute resolution/civil litigation.
  • Comfortable dealing with clients and appearing in court.
