About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our client's expanding team in Burgess Hill. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of care for patients' mental and physical health.

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, promoting a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Engage in supervision, appraisal, and continuous professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Support recruitment and retention efforts, contributing to the growth and success of our team.
  • Utilize your experience with care plans, risk assessments, and report writing to ensure effective patient care.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Mental Health Act legislation and statutory regulations.
  • Lead shifts, manage staffing levels, and maintain a skilled workforce.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior staff and students, fostering a culture of collaboration and learning.
