Operations & Project Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations & Project Coordinator to join our team at Think Specialist Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a high-growth business based in Hemel Hempstead, supporting the operations team with administration, invoicing, and project management tasks.

The ideal candidate will have some experience dealing with tradespeople and be proficient in using office IT applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook. They will be responsible for auditing budgets, contracts, and project spend trackers, as well as updating project managers' calendars and booking site visits.

The successful candidate will be a positive attitude to work, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment. They will also be responsible for distributing health and safety procedures, attending weekly project meetings, and supporting the operations team with various administrative tasks.

This is a full-time and permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break. A salary of £27k to £30k is on offer, dependent on experience, as well as a number of other benefits, including full in-house training, on-site parking, and regular social events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Auditing budgets and contracts
