Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at Skillframe Ltd. As a Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth repair process of vehicles after an accident.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicles for damages and evaluate the necessity and cost of repairs
  • Evaluate damage using visual inspection, mechanical testing devices, road tests, and information provided by the customer
  • Collect insurance estimates after reviewing damage and create accurate estimates detailing repair and labor costs
  • Meet with customers to discuss damages, repair process, and timeline and costs
  • Implement an effective quality check process by inspecting repaired vehicles and ensuring the repair is up to standard
  • Complete final paperwork and payment with the customer and provide exceptional customer service at all times

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience working within a body shop environment
  • A love of cars and a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple repairs simultaneously
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Computer literacy

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 50 hour week, starting at 7:30am

Salary

Negotiable depending on experience
