Windows PowerShell Engineer

Quant Capital is seeking a skilled Windows PowerShell Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating infrastructure systems on Windows-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement platform engineering solutions
  • Maintain the firm's operating systems, authentication systems, databases, virtualization infrastructure, core network services, and messaging
  • Develop and implement PowerShell scripts for automation and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems across on-premises and cloud-based environments
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Windows and PowerShell technologies

Requirements:

  • STEM degree
  • Significant Windows systems automation experience
  • Powershell programming skills (ideally with some C# exposure)
  • Strong understanding of the Windows platform and related technologies
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with tracing tools and network protocols
  • Experience with common Windows Server applications and management tools
  • Working knowledge of Linux and information security concepts
