Windows Engineer Opportunity at Quant Capital

We are seeking a skilled Windows Engineer to join our team at Quant Capital, a leading quantitative trading firm and marketmaker. As a Windows Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and integrating infrastructure systems on Windows-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement platform engineering solutions for our mixed Windows and Linux environment
  • Maintain the firm's operating systems, authentication systems, databases, virtualization infrastructure, core network services, and messaging
  • Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell and C#
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical issues

Requirements:

  • Significant experience with Windows systems automation and PowerShell programming
  • Strong understanding of the Windows platform and related technologies, including Exchange, SQL, SCCM, Hyper-V, and ADFS
  • Working knowledge of network protocols, Linux, and information security concepts
  • Experience working with containers on Windows and Linux is a plus
