About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to an individual with learning disabilities, Autism, and Diabetes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centered care and support to the individual, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage the individual to engage in activities they enjoy, such as arts and crafts, watching TV, and going out to the shops or days out.
  • Support the individual to develop their skills and interests, including animal care.
  • Work collaboratively with the individual's support network to ensure their needs are met.

About You:

  • No previous experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • However, experience of Autism would be a significant advantage.
  • You must be a driver, as the individual has her own car.
  • You will be working 16 hours per week, in a homely and friendly environment.
