Role Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Catering Manager to oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for a major High Street brand. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our kitchens and service counters to ensure exceptional food experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare delicious food to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Culinary Team Management: Supervise our culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit catering operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
  • Communication and Liaison: Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets, and liaise between customers and our culinary and service teams.
  • Team Support and Training: Support and train our teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their role.
  • Health and Safety: Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of catering experience, with proven track record in managing teams and operations.
  • Qualifications: Hold an NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Skills: Brilliant financial acumen, excellent communication and organisational skills, and an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill.
