About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at St Philips Care Group. As a valued member of our housekeeping team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our care home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the care home, including resident rooms, communal areas, showers, bathrooms, dining area, and seating areas.
  • Clean and care for resident rooms to ensure they are homely and tidy.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the care home, including prioritizing workload and using resources economically and effectively.
  • Report any accidents, untoward incidents, hazards, and unsafe equipment to the Care Home Manager.
  • Be aware of COSHH and health and safety in the workplace.
Requirements
  • A flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • High standards and a good work ethic.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and use resources economically and effectively.
  • Previous experience of care work in a hospital or care home is desirable, but not essential.
  • An interest in care of the elderly is also desirable.
