We are recruiting for an experienced ESOL Lecturer to teach on a full-time or part-time basis, delivering entry-level to level 2 ESOL programmes in the East Midlands region.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality teaching across identified modules, focusing on entry-level to level 2 ESOL courses for refugees and asylum seekers.
  2. Tutor Level 2 Maths and English, ensuring students meet their learning goals.
  3. Prioritise pastoral support for students who require additional assistance.
  4. Collaborate with students, next of kin, and college staff to address attendance, behaviour, and challenges faced by ESOL learners.
  5. Support students' enrolment, induction, performance, and progression to positive destinations.
Requirements
  1. A recognised teaching qualification is essential; Level 2 in English and Maths is also required.
  2. Previous experience delivering ESOL programmes is necessary.
  3. The ability to plan and deliver engaging teaching across identified modules.
  4. Up-to-date subject knowledge and recent delivery experience in further education or schools.
  5. A valid Right to Work in the UK and an Enhanced Adult/Child DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service.
Remuneration Package:

□ □ £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
