Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Commissioning Editor to join our dynamic team at Rizzoli Universe. As a Commissioning Editor, you will be responsible for conceiving, commissioning, and acquiring highly visual, beautifully packaged illustrated titles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commissioning books in the areas of pop culture and lifestyle
  • Conceiving and acquiring highly visual, beautifully packaged illustrated titles
  • Building and maintaining relationships with authors, agents, and freelancers
  • Providing constructive feedback on manuscripts and guiding authors through the editorial process
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
