About Sizewell B Power Station

Sizewell B is a major power generation facility that has been in operation since 1995. It has generated over 250 TWh of zero-carbon electricity, which is equivalent to powering every home in Suffolk for 192 years or removing 42 million cars from UK roads for a year.

Your Role

As a Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for the power station. This will involve working closely with the client-led team to identify and source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement process for the power station, including identifying and sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the client-led team to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the needs of the power station.
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance, including costs, delivery times, and quality.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
