About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cardiologist to join our team as a Consultant in the rural setting of Herefordshire. This appointment will offer an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for Clinical Trial Coordination and Administration (CTCA) to contribute to the development of services and work collaboratively with colleagues.

Responsibilities

This position will involve working on a 1 in 7 basis, allowing for proactive troubleshooting of cardiology problems on wards and in ED during normal working hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing undifferentiated cardiological takes, ensuring effective communication and coordination among healthcare professionals. Additionally, they will participate in Audit and Management experience in Cardiology, contributing to the improvement of patient care.

Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration with License to practice
  • Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via: CCT or CESR MRCP UK exams
  • Level 3 accreditation in CTCA
  • Higher Degree (e.g., MD/PhD)
  • Flexible outlook on working hours
  • Willingness to adapt to the needs of the Department and service development
