About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Data Analyst to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our clinical coding team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of patient data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Abstract and validate patient data to ensure accurate coding.
  • Analyse and interpret complex medical information to inform coding decisions.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to ensure effective communication and coding consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes to medical classification systems and guidelines.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A-C, including Maths, English, and Science.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
