About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Independent Living Support Specialist to join our team at Chester Voluntary Action.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to vision impaired individuals to help them develop the skills they need to live independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assess the needs of vision impaired individuals and develop personalized support plans
  • To provide support and guidance to help individuals develop new skills
  • To maintain accurate records of individual progress and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assess individual needs and develop personalized support plans
  • Strong understanding of vision impairment and its impact on daily life

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
