We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager to join our team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Key Responsibilities- Lead on contracting and performance management, ensuring that contracts are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Manage contracts with pathology providers and external parties, including negotiation and renegotiation of terms and conditions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve contract performance and reduce costs.
- Work closely with our pathology services team to ensure that contracts are aligned with business objectives and goals.
- Provide management leadership and support to our pathology services team, including training and development.
- Significant management experience, including experience of leading on contracting and performance management.
- Experience of managing contracts, including negotiation and renegotiation of terms and conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands.
- Ability to analyze complex facts and situations and develop a range of options.
- Strategic thinking and ability to anticipate and resolve problems before they arise.
