Job Title: Visitor Centre Guide

This is a full-time position working up to 5 days a week on an annualized hours contract. The role includes some weekends and requires reporting to the Homeplace Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming guests to The Glendronach in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Hosting tours of the production areas and warehousing.
  • Confidently presenting whisky tastings.
  • Promoting the sale of our products to guests, including whisky and branded items.
  • Preparing and serving drinks behind the bar.
  • Ensuring compliance with daily checks and requirements.
  • Developing good employee relations and ensuring uniform application and consistency of Company policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy Homeplace, free from hazards at all times.
  • Driving safety initiatives and ensuring safe working conditions.
  • Representing the brand at events off property.
Requirements:
  • Face-to-face customer service or retail experience.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Confidence in dealing with people from all walks of life in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a methodical manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Team player with keen attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work a rotating schedule to cover a 7-day/week operation.
