About the Role:

Vetro Social Care is seeking experienced Support Workers to work in a service supporting adults with learning disabilities. The service is located in the outskirts of Cwmbran and provides care and support to individuals aged 18 and upwards with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing therapeutic care and support to service users
  • Assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence
  • Monitoring and recording service user conditions
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months experience of working in a social care setting
  • Current Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving license
