About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Emcor UK. As a key member of our HSE team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of health and safety performance and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including HSE guidelines and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
