Operational Supervisor Role

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operational Supervisor to join our Environmental and Operational Services team at South Holland District Council.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of operational staff to deliver high-quality services to the community.
  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies to improve service delivery and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve council objectives.
  • Monitor and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operational management, preferably in a local government or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
