Chartwells - Independent Team Leader Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Team Leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional food and outstanding customer service. As a key member of our Chartwells - Independent team, you will oversee all catering and service operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present high-quality food that meets our culinary standards
  • Supervise and motivate our culinary and service teams to achieve exceptional results
  • Collaborate with our line manager to monitor key performance indicators and targets
  • Represent Chartwells - Independent and maintain a positive brand image
  • Liaise with customers and our teams to ensure seamless communication and exceptional service
  • Support and train our teams to excel in their roles
  • Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of catering experience
  • Experience managing teams in a similar role
  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill
