Electronics Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to lead the electronics development for a key programme in Leonardo's Advanced Targeting Sector. This position is primarily looking to fill a vacancy on the DragonFire system, a cutting-edge Laser Directed Energy Weapon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of electronics engineers developing the DragonFire beam-director electronic hardware.
- Develop new DragonFire electronics through the full design lifecycle; from requirements analysis.
- Collaborate with Software, Firmware, Mechanical and Systems engineering leads to solve real integration problems on test systems.
- Work closely with engineers from partner organisations both with the DragonFire consortium and user community.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or related science or equivalent work experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one aspect of electronics design, for example: analogue, mixed-signal, digital or power electronics.
- Experience of team leadership and work package management.
