Job Title: Mid Weight Mens Outerwear Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid Weight Mens Outerwear Designer to join our team at House of Fashion Associates Ltd. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish outerwear designs for our menswear brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research new colours, trims and fabrics, producing mood boards
  • Generate seasonal trend reports
  • Design exciting seasonal collections in line with research and direction provided
  • Work with key accounts on SMU packs
  • Produce sketches, technical drawings and tech packs in Adobe Illustrator with a high attention to detail
  • Handover tech packs to the product development team, ensuring that key design details are translated
  • Liaise with the product development team on the fit of samples
  • Mentor junior members of the team, and assist senior members of the team as required

Requirements:

  • 2 years minimum experience working for a sports brand/Menswear
  • A thorough understanding of the activewear and outdoor wear market
  • A portfolio demonstrating work relevant for this role
  • Strong working knowledge of the Adobe suite is essential
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong team player

Location: Manchester

Salary: £30,000 Per Annum
