About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid Weight Mens Outerwear Designer to join our team at House of Fashion Associates Ltd. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish mens outerwear designs that meet the commercial needs of our online premium menswear brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research new colours, trims and fabrics, producing mood boards to inspire design direction
  • Generate seasonal trend reports to inform design decisions
  • Design exciting seasonal collections in line with research and direction provided
  • Work with key accounts on SMU packs to ensure design meets commercial needs
  • Produce sketches, technical drawings and tech packs in Adobe Illustrator with a high attention to detail
  • Handover tech packs to the product development team, ensuring key design details are translated
  • Liaise with the product development team on the fit of samples
  • Mentor junior members of the team, and assist senior members of the team as required

Requirements:

  • 2 years minimum experience working for a sports brand/Menswear
  • A thorough understanding of the activewear and outdoor wear market
  • A portfolio demonstrating work relevant for this role

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of the Adobe suite
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong team player
