Eden Scott is seeking a highly organized and proactive Research Operations Administrator to join their team in Edinburgh. This exciting role will provide vital administrative support to the Investment Research team, ensuring seamless operations across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the weekly Investment Research meeting pack, ensuring all necessary materials are collated and presented in a clear and concise manner.
- Collate and distribute weekly regional research team packs, maintaining accurate records of distribution and ensuring timely delivery.
- Produce stock review packs for core research meetings, utilizing data analysis skills to identify key trends and insights.
- Assist with organizing research trips, liaising with Investment Research, Corporate Traveller, heads of departments, and external corporate access providers to ensure seamless logistics and effective communication.
- Track, update, and report on engagement progress, utilizing data analysis skills to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the coordination of annual company file updates and the approval process, ensuring key document allocation and maintaining accurate records.
- Provide administrative support to the proxy voting process, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Support the team with external research provider processes, maintaining effective relationships and ensuring seamless communication.
- Coordinate company and analyst meetings, working closely with Investment Research and approved vendors to ensure successful outcomes.
- Manage vendor relationships and assist with vendor management, maintaining accurate records and ensuring effective communication.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Investment Research team, utilizing flexibility and adaptability to meet changing needs.
- Perform general administrative duties across Research Operations, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Provide holiday and absence cover for other team members, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a high attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely execution of tasks.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, prioritizing effectively and maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining effective relationships and ensuring seamless communication.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM systems, utilizing data analysis skills to identify key trends and insights.
- Prior experience in research operations, financial services, or a related field is preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry-specific requirements and best practices.
