Join Our Team as a Maintenance Engineer Apprentice

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer Apprentice to join our team at The Sterling Choice. As a leading business in our field, we offer a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and ever-growing sustainable business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery in our FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Work on conveyors, belts, gearboxes, motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics, as well as being electrically able to fault find and rewire.
  • Contribute to the prevention and resolution of reactive and preventative breakdowns within our FMCG environment.
  • Participate in ongoing projects and training to stay up-to-date with the latest skills and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge and experience in reactive and preventative breakdowns within an FMCG environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
