Scientific Editor Role
We are seeking a highly motivated life science graduate to join our dynamic editorial team at Redwood Publishing Recruitment. As a scientific editor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the clarity and readability of scientific manuscripts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform language and copy editing on scientific manuscripts.
- Perform first-round edits of articles to ensure they are well-written, consistent, and factually accurate.
- Assess authors' responses to edits and editorial comments.
- Involvement in the peer review process, including identifying issues with plagiarism, patient consent, and animal ethics.
- With experience, perform second-round edits of articles.
This role requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organization and communication skills, and a passion for communicating science. You will work closely with authors and team members to ensure the highest quality of published content.
