We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Southfields Veterinary Specialists. As a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients during the night shift.
About the Role:This is a permanent position working 26 hours per week, with a 5 on 10 off rota. You will be responsible for providing inpatient and emergency care to patients from various disciplines, including neurology, surgery, oncology, cardiology, ophthalmology, and internal medicine.
You will work as part of a large night team, including interns, nurses, trainee nurses, and patient care assistants. Your duties will include assisting with incoming emergencies, being responsible for case handovers, and participating in an on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care during the night shift
- Assist with incoming emergencies and be responsible for case handovers
- Work as part of a large night team, including interns, nurses, trainee nurses, and patient care assistants
- Participate in an on-call rota
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a highly motivated and experienced Night Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for providing exceptional patient care. You will also need to be able to work under pressure, coordinate cases, and be willing to learn and develop your skills.
