About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a leading Primary SEND/SEMH Provision in West London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the learning of children in the class, including individual, small and large groups as directed.
  • Monitor, assess and support children with social, emotional and/or mental health difficulties, and possibly other special educational needs.
  • Work in a creative and dynamic environment that promotes the holistic development of children.
About the School

Our school is a specialist provision for students with an Educational Health Care Plan where the primary needs are SEMH difficulties.

We aim to provide a family atmosphere where pupils and families feel supported, and we encourage children to take part in a wide range of sporting events and clubs, and other extra-curricular activities that build social and personal skills.

About You
  • Ideal candidates will have experience supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
  • We are seeking strong, confident and compassionate candidates who are passionate about working with vulnerable youth.
  • You will be taken on as a teaching assistant, supporting pupils in the classroom, carefully guiding and helping them to make good progress in key areas.
  • Being flexible and willing to take on all challenges.
