We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Lawyer to join our team at Birketts. As a key member of our Corporate Team, you will play a vital role in providing expert support and guidance to our fee earners.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide expert knowledge and guidance on corporate law and practice to our fee earners
* Develop and maintain our internal precedent bank, best practice guides, and knowledge resources
* Deliver regular training and development programs to ensure our fee earners are up to date with current law and practice
* Produce high-quality articles and client briefing materials to promote our firm's expertise
* Collaborate with our Knowledge Management Team to develop and implement new client-facing tools and ways of working

Accountabilities

* Monitor and keep our Corporate Team updated on relevant corporate law developments
* Review and improve our existing precedents and knowledge resources
* Support our training programs and provide specialist training as required
* Develop and maintain client briefing and bulletin materials
* Work with our Knowledge Management Team to assess and implement new technologies and innovative ways of working

Requirements

* Significant corporate transactional experience from a well-regarded law firm
* Excellent drafting and research skills
* Strong organisation and communication skills
* Ability to interact with people at all levels within the firm
* Proficiency in a range of IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite
