Job Title: Professional Support Lawyer

At Birketts, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Support Lawyer to join our Corporate Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our fee earners and contributing to the development of our internal knowledge resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance and support to fee earners on corporate law matters, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain our internal precedent bank, best practice guides, and knowledge resources, ensuring they are accurate, comprehensive, and easily accessible.
  • Design and deliver training programs for fee earners, focusing on corporate law and related areas, to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Produce high-quality articles, client bulletins, and other materials to promote the firm's expertise and thought leadership in corporate law.
  • Collaborate with our Knowledge Management Team to identify and implement new technologies and innovative ways of working to improve efficiency and client experience.
Requirements:
  • Significant corporate transactional experience from a well-regarded law firm.
  • Excellent drafting and research skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and innovative ways of working.
  • Pragmatic, self-motivated, and a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
