Lead Process Engineer/Process Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Process Engineer/Process Engineering Manager to join our team at Eleven Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing engineering consultancy in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide process expertise to ensure delivery of projects to tight timescales in accordance with client expectations.
  • Support the Engineering Director in all aspects of Process Design to deliver engineering solutions at Concept, FEED, and detailed design project phases.
  • Lead design projects independently and manage the process design team as a deputy.
  • Develop sizing calculations for Process equipment (Pumps, Heat Exchangers, distillation columns, compressors, separators, reactors, etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment datasheets.
  • Provide design inputs to drafting.
  • Review design documents/drawings prepared by the design team.
  • Stay up-to-date with new developments of standards, process software, procedures, and implement them in day-to-day work.
  • Perform site visits to complete site surveys, site meetings, and other site-related activities.
  • Prepare process specifications, drawings (PFD, P&IDs, etc.), and process deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Ideal chartered or working towards chartership.
  • Proven core Process Engineering skills, including design experience.
  • Familiarity with process design in a chemical process plants environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
