Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to users across the business, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Oversee the ongoing health, maintenance, and administration of the firm's IT infrastructure, ensuring uptime, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Lead and participate in IT projects, including software updates, hardware installations, and systems migrations.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring smooth delivery of IT services and managing hardware/software purchases.
  • Manage backup processes and ensure that disaster recovery plans are in place and tested regularly.
  • Ensure that all IT processes and systems comply with relevant data protection regulations and legal sector requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in supporting Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10, Active Directory, Exchange, and network troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with legal-specific applications such as case management systems, document management solutions, and time recording software.
  • Proven experience in a senior support role, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues promptly and effectively.
  • Experience leading IT projects, from system upgrades to the deployment of new technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and remote access security.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with legal professionals, IT staff, and external providers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support roles, with at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
