Industrial Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Advanced Technology Services, UK Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining complex industrial equipment, including manufacturing process equipment, CNC machinery, robotics, and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform competent break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment, including observing devices in operation, dismantling devices to gain access to defective parts, and repairing or replacing defective parts.
- Identify parts, supplies, and repair items necessary for equipment maintenance and repair.
- Work with customer counterparts to execute maintenance, reliability, and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Setup and operate multiple machining operations, including lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
- Perform welding tasks and document work performed in service reports and management systems.
- Relevant education to level six and minimum five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
- Working knowledge and experience regarding electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems in related fields.
- Ability to analyze problems, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.
- Experience in preventative maintenance techniques, precision measuring, mechanical alignments, and general maintenance of applicable process equipment.
- Exposure to programmable logic controllers, field devices, and electrical drive and motor systems.
